A message to our supporters: hope in a crisis.
Wow, what a week it's been. I'm not going to lie to you - these last few days have been challenging, to say the least. I've found myself feeling stressed and concerned for my family, my community, and my business. But today...
Today, that has changed. Today, I'm reminded of the spirit and heart of the American people that I witnessed as a young businesswoman during 9/11. I'm reminded of our willingness to sacrifice as we have in nearly two decades of war time. I'm reminded of our resilience, our determination, and our desire to not only survive, but thrive.
So today, I bring you a message of hope and encouragement, and a promise. The days and weeks ahead may pose challenges, may be frustrating, may even cause true concern in your heart, but know this - WE will survive. And together, like we always do, we will THRIVE.
My promise to you is that the Blue Willow that you know and love will be right here, doing what we do. We'll work hard to be your beacon of light in a challenging time, your laughter when you can't find any, your encouragement when you feel low, and of course, your super cute new outfit when you need that retail therapy!
Please continue to support your favorite small businesses - not just ours, but all of our friends, as well. If you can shop, do so. If you can't shop, share. Tell everyone you know about the small businesses in your community that will be affected much more than you might imagine. Like their posts on social media, comment on them, ENGAGE - because it all helps! All of this is completely out of their control, and that sure is a scary place to be standing.
TOGETHER - that's where we need to be.
Finally, thank you, each and every one of you for all that you do to make Blue Willow such a special place. I am excited about this week to come, and we're here for you - whatever you need. I'm blessed with an incredible team of women who are right by my side as we tread uncharted waters as a team, and we so appreciate you during this process.
Much love to all of you - may you find peacefulness surrounded by joy and love. And if you're looking for something to binge watch on Hulu - I highly recommend Justified. Give it about 20 minutes, and you'll see why.
Hang in there honey…this too shall pass!
